Today we went to Khanom town to look for land for overseas real estate. We will show you building land that you can buy much cheaper than in Phuket or Pattaya. This location is perfect for building villas, complexes with townhouses, gated residences or hotels. Wide clean beach, clear calm sea, infrastructure, two airports, ferry, national parks and pink dolphins, everything for a comfortable vacation and life of tourists.
One of the best location for real estate investment in Thailand!
If you are as adventurous as I am, are not afraid to take risks and understand that investing is about a long-term perspective, not about making money tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, follow me! I will show you where to invest. Not Phuket, not Samui, not Bangkok, not HuaHin or even Krabi…. We’re going where you can truly discover new horizons!
Just 13km from Samui Island, I will introduce you to a unique place. Here we will see construction sites, an operating hotel, a mini-resort and lots of vacant land. We will compare this place with other resorts and we won’t forget about the pink dolphins! Yes, yes, pink dolphins! Imagine – they are really pink in color, like Barbie! An incredible sight that is hard to forget.
I love exploring new places, because I want properties to finally start adapting to nature instead of looking like boring concrete boxes. To live in the tropics is to live in harmony with nature, not detached from it. This place is perfect for those who appreciate the natural environment and want to breathe in the true beauty of southern Thailand.
2. Location and amenities
Local Thais come here to relax too, which means you won’t be solely dependent on tourists. This area is popular with Thais who like to come here to see pink dolphins, walk along the picturesque beaches and enjoy nature. It has the clearest water, soft white sand and no heavy traffic.
Logistics is an important point for any investor, and here we have two nearest airports – in Surat Thani and Nakhonsithammarat, which can be reached in an hour and a half. And there’s also plenty of natural attractions nearby, including hot springs and national parks.
French mini-hotel on the beach
Along the way, we stopped at a French hotel located right on the beach. Five years ago when we visited here before the covid, it was just a coffee shop, but the people who invested in the place saw the potential! Now it’s a cozy mini-hotel with a few bungalow-style houses. This example shows how important it is to look ahead and consider similar projects.
3. Beaches and infrastructure
The beaches here are a separate fairy tale: soft white sand, gentle entrance to the water, crystal clear water, which is not inferior to the Maldives. This is an ideal place for family vacations and absolutely calm zone compared to the western part of Thailand. The beaches are like Krabi, but without the crowds of tourists that sometimes load the coastline. It’s quiet, peaceful and truly paradisiacal.
4. Pink dolphins
And of course, the legendary pink dolphins of Khanom! These amazing creatures are indeed as pink as piglets. They live here and you don’t even need to fish or bait them. Just go out on the boat and they will appear on their own. A true natural wonder worth visiting for!
5. Infrastructure
The cities of Surat Thani, Khanom and Nakhonsithammarat are all close by. All the necessary stores, hospitals and markets are here – everything you need for a comfortable vacation.
Post-pandemic changes
Since the pandemic, Thais have invested more in tourism, and this place is a living example of that interest. Even on a weekday, the restaurants here are full and the parked cars indicate that the vacationers are mostly Thais. This place offers amazing potential for businesses targeting both international tourists and local vacationers.
6. Prospects for investment
The location we visited is ideal for small villa residences and hotel complexes. The area has tremendous growth potential that could be realized in the 3-5-7 year timeframe. If you share my excitement and are willing to take reasonable risks, send me a private message and I will show you the hidden gems of Thailand that few people know about.
